Hi, I am Max.
I have been building MAXIMUM Workouts since July 2025, on my own, alongside my job as an industrial engineer. Not because the world needed another fitness app, but because I needed one that did not exist.
112 kilos and too many apps
I once weighed 112 kilos. I was not new to the gym, I kept coming back, with breaks that got too long. I had been tracking my training with apps for years. The problem: most of them were dumb. I could type in reps and weights, and that was it. Nothing was detected, nothing interpreted, nothing recommended.
For nutrition I needed a second app. Both were supposed to feed into my phone's fitness app via Health Connect so I could see everything in one place. That was a mess. On top of that, the training app only handled gym workouts, not my run, not my swim, not my everyday activity. And then it dropped Health Connect support altogether.
At that point it was clear: there needs to be an app that does all of this and is intelligent at the same time. One that does not just display data but analyzes it and gives recommendations. Like having a personal trainer in your pocket. So I built it.
What I do myself
Strength training, running, the occasional swim, and I want my everyday movement included. I wear a Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra. That is why the Wear OS app exists so early and why it counts laps in the pool. I use every feature in MAXIMUM Workouts myself, every week. If something is annoying, I notice it first.
The one decision
Your data stays on your device. Workouts, nutrition, sleep, weight are stored locally, backups go to your own Google Drive or iCloud. As a user I do not want my health data sitting on some server, so that is how I build the app. Only what technically cannot work without it goes to my server: account, subscription and, if you choose to take part, the verification for the Streak program.
What I do not promise
No weight-loss guarantee, no diagnosis, no miracles. You are responsible for your own progress. I try to give you the best possible tool for it and write on every feature page what it cannot do. If you have symptoms, pre-existing conditions or are pregnant, medical advice comes before any app.
A one-person project has one advantage: if you write via Support, the person who knows the code answers you. What is currently happening in the app I show on Instagram. And if this page gets you to train today or to build something yourself, it has served its purpose.
